We have been offered a generous donation of £50,000 – but on one condition – that we are able to match it pound for pound by the 31st July 2024.

Our Impact So Far: 

Since 2013, MGCfutures has been dedicated to nurturing the next generation of theatre makers. In 2016, we launched our unique bursary programme, providing funding to every type of career within the theatre industry, whether creative, administrative or technical. So far, we’ve awarded over £500,000 to more than 140 theatre makers to pursue their artistic visions, take bold risks, and create groundbreaking work.

Securing these funds will enable us to enrich our bursary offering, increase our mentorship support, provide networking opportunities and promote our recipients’ work. Providing this long-term commitment is essential for helping emerging talent to thrive in their careers.
