The Stephanie Arditti Bursary enabled Eve to make five costumes to showcase her design and making skills, as well as conducting research into props costume by speaking and spending time with industry professionals.

“This bursary has given me the focus and the resources to work on new skills and projects. For the past two years I’ve been working alongside model maker Jonathan Saville who has 30 years’ experience in the film, tv and theatre industry. I have learnt new methods and techniques by working on a variety of projects for theatre, adverts and charities which has informed how I’ve created my own designs. I was recently approached by the legendary art and fetish club Torture Garden, to showcase my costumes in a fashion show for one of their sold-out Halloween events. I’ve also learnt leather skills from Harriet Holt of Carapace London.”
“I’m currently working on a theatre production making props and costumes and have been commissioned to make a headdress for artist Karina Akopyan whose designs have been worn by Lady Gaga. Once my project is completed, I’ll feature the costumes in my own exhibition in the new year.”
