Give Now to our Match Funding Campaign

We have been offered a generous donation of £50,000 – but on one condition – that we are able to match it pound for pound by the 31st July 2024.

Please help us raise £50,000 and then double it with the help of our anonymous donor to ensure a brighter future for the next generation of theatre makers.

And we thank every single one of you for contributing to our campaign and for being a vital part of our journey. We welcome any contribution – it all adds up!

Our Impact So Far:

Since 2013, MGCfutures has been dedicated to nurturing the next generation of theatre makers. In 2016, we launched our unique bursary programme, providing funding to every type of career within the theatre industry, whether creative, administrative or technical. So far, we’ve awarded over £500,000 to more than 140 theatre makers to pursue their artistic visions, take bold risks, and create groundbreaking work.

Why We Need Your Help:

Securing these funds will enable us to enrich our bursary offering, increase our mentorship support, provide networking opportunities and promote our recipients’ work. Providing this long-term commitment is essential for helping emerging talent to thrive in their careers.

How You Can Help:

  • Share: Your support doesn’t end with your donation. Spread the word about our campaign to friends, family, and colleagues. Together, we can reach our fundraising goal and ensure a sustainable future for the charity.
  • Get Creative: Whether it’s hosting a fundraising event, organising a sponsored challenge, or leveraging your network for support, every effort counts toward empowering the future of theatre making. Contact us if you wish to share any creative ways of supporting the campaign!

“Now more than ever it’s essential to invest in the theatre makers of the future – not just to survive, but to thrive and create new and vital work.”
