Afsaneh’s play Give A Man A Bible was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Playwriting and shortlisted for the Theatre Uncut Political Playwriting Prize. She has also completed an attachment at the National Theatre. For TV, she has written seven episodes of BBC Doctors, and her original comedy Lulu The Extremist was chosen for development by UKTV as part of a partnership with Comedy 50:50. Afsaneh’s original audio drama The Other Man landed on Audible at the beginning of December 2023.
She is currently working on her first feature film commission. Afsaneh is represented by Giles Smart at United Agents.
