2021 Bursary

The fifth round of Bursaries in 2021 saw awards made to 33 theatre makers

A wide range of disciplines were represented, including choreographers, digital creators, set and costume designers and writers, plus MGCfutures’ first Casting Director.

Lyric Hammersmith Theatre Literary Associate (Trainee)

2021 also saw collaborations between MGCfutures and the following organisations: the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, supporting a trainee Literary Associate; and Pilot Theatre, supporting two Creative Assistant roles.

The fifth round also included two bursaries awarded in memory of Costume Supervisor Stephanie Arditti. Eve Kann was supported to develop her skills as a designer and Kitty Hawkins received funding to build a library of essential reference books. These awards were generously supported by designer Christopher Oram.
