Since being granted the bursary in 2021, Lexie achieved her first West End credit on Mischief Theatre’s Magic Goes Wrong, and then went on to work on the UK Tour of the same production. Her company Highly Suspect has had multiple sell out runs of new work at the Edinburgh Fringe 2021-2023, and is currently nominated for an Off West End Award as it continues to tour the UK with its site-specific original productions. As well as her work in a directorial capacity, her text analysis podcast Script-in Hand has had over 12,000 downloads from across the world, and interviewed celebrated guests such as Chris Bush, Matther Xia & Amy Trigg. Lexie continues to promote and be an advocate for work made by Cumbrian practitioners.
Whilst Lexie continues to develop Ascent/Descent, the verbatim theatre piece based on Mountain Rescue, she is spending the next three years as the assistant director on Mischief Theatre’s Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle aboard Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady.
