“Recently myself and fellow theatre producer Frankie-Rose Taylor started our own independent production company, specialising working with fringe, DIY, queer performance artists in Wales. This has definitely been massively influenced by receiving the MGCFutures bursary which allowed me the space and time to focus fully on my producing practice. Through our work we have worked with amazing Welsh artists, bringing work to life that otherwise may not have been given a platform, and it’s amazing to finally be working consistently as a freelancer. If it hadn’t been for the bursary I wouldn’t have been able to build up my producing skillset, as well as my own confidence. It’s been a game changer to have such targeted investment and generous support!”
“We are currently producing Polly & Esther, a chaotic drag cabaret show that is heading to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, as well as numerous R&Ds from exciting Welsh artists. Alongside this I am currently working as Creative Development Producer for National Theatre Wales, as well as continuing my theatre making work with CB4 Theatre.”
