“I’m thrilled to receive the MGCfutures bursary which will give me the time and resources to develop my practice as a choreographer. I’ll be directing a small team of dancers and collaborators, using objects and mechanical materials as a tool to approach moving. I’ll be exploring functional and expressive physicalities and bringing scenographic contraptions to life.”
Eleanor will employ the bursary to explore hand operated chain-reaction contraptions (aka Rube Goldberg machines) as scenography for dance, establishing herself as a director of group choreography.
