“Since receiving my bursary in 2022, I have curated a season of work as a Guest Artistic Director of the Kings Head Theatre, appeared in season 2 of Foundation with AppleTV+, toured in acclaimed new musical Modest with Middle Child and completed a 10 week run as a lead in As You Like It at Shakespeare’s Globe, as well as curating and co-hosting my first ever drag night in the candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. I’ve also had the audacity to apply for playwriting programmes which I would never have done before. While the challenge of writing around acting work continues, I feel really lit up about my play and am always building networks that can support me in my writing moving forward.”
“When I finish shooting season 3 of Heartstopper, I’ll begin 6 weeks of rest, travel and creative freedom, including further work on my play, before my 2024 rehearsals begin!”
