“I am a designer & theatre-maker making original work for young audiences. I am so grateful for MGCfutures for supporting me in expanding my skillset in puppetry. The bursary will fund a weeklong R+D of ‘Colours to Lines’ exploring abstract art and navigating personal conflicts for ages 5+. This investment will allow me to create puppet prototypes and explore opportunities in the creation of the show. ”
The bursary will allow Layla to conduct an R&D exploring the language of puppetry and design in a show for children that explores different art movements through history.
