Meet our new patron: Emma Corrin

We are very excited to announce that Emma Corrin has become an MGCfutures patron, joining a list of actors already supporting the charity, including Judi Dench, Dawn French, Nicole Kidman, Jude Law, Daniel Radcliffe, Simon Russell Beale, Sheridan Smith, Aidan Turner, David Walliams and Ben Whishaw.

Michael first met Emma during the shooting of My Policeman, where they developed a working relationship that led to Emma playing the title role in Orlando, a Michael Grandage Company production at the Garrick Theatre. They have stayed in touch since and the actor has now decided to support the charity’s mission.

Emma said today “I am joining MGCfutures as a patron because I believe in its mission to support theatre makers and create a more inclusive industry. Theatre should be accessible for everyone, and allow stories to be told and shared that reflect the whole spectrum of our society. I believe MGCfutures is working hard to make that a reality, thanks to the amazing range of individuals and creatives the charity supports!”
